How to Track Sales From WhatsApp, Instagram, Jiji and More in One App

Most Nigerian sellers sell in many places at once: walk-in customers, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Jiji, Jumia. But where does the money really come from? Mark each sale's channel in Oja, and you will know where to spend your time and data.

Before you start

  • Install the Oja app and sign in to your store.

1

Mark where you sold it

Record a sale as usual. At checkout, open More options and choose Where did you sell it?: Physical (walk-in), WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Jiji, Jumia, Konga or Other. Orders from your store link and payment links are marked for you.

Tap: Where did you sell it?

See which channel brings the money

On Home, scroll to Sales channels. The chart shows each channel's share of your sales, like "WhatsApp brought in 44% of your sales". Tap the period at the top of Home to change it.

Tap: Sales channels

Tips to sell more where it works

  • Mark every sale, even small ones, or the chart will mislead you.
  • Spend more time on the channel at the top of the chart, and test one new channel at a time.
  • Use Where you sold it in Orders to filter sales from one channel.

Try it in the Oja app

Oja is free to start. Download the app, open your store in minutes and follow this guide on your own phone.
