Run a sale on everything, or give customers a coupon code for WhatsApp and Instagram. Set the percent off and the dates in Oja. Here is how.
A good promo brings buyers back: Black Friday, Detty December, Sallah, or just a slow week. In Oja, you can take money off automatically for everyone, or create a code that only people you send it to can use.
Before you start
- Install the Oja app and sign in to your store.
Open Discounts and coupons
Go to the Account tab and tap Discounts and coupons.
Tap Create discount
Tap Create discount. Choose How much off?, like 10%, and pick Every product or Choose products. Oja shows an example, like "A ₦10,000 item will sell for ₦9,000".
Add a Coupon code, like DETTY10, if only people with the code should get it, or leave it empty to take it off for everyone. Set when it starts and ends, and save.
Tips for a good promo
- Set an end date. A deadline makes people buy now.
- Share the code in your WhatsApp status and Instagram stories, with your store link.
- Add the code to your birthday message for a reason to visit.
