How to use Analytics to grow your store

Before you start

Open the Oja merchant app and sign in with your store account. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Some features (like advanced analytics) require an active subscription.

Step-by-step guide

Follow these steps in order:

  1. Tap Analytics in the bottom navigation (or open from the dashboard).
  2. Use the date range selector at the top: pick presets like This month or choose custom dates.
  3. Overview tab: See high-level revenue, orders, and growth metrics.
  4. Categories tab: See which categories sell best (paid plans).
  5. Products tab: Identify top sellers and slow movers.
  6. Orders tab: Analyze order volume and average order value.
  7. Customers tab: Track new vs returning customers.
  8. Shipping tab: Review delivery performance.
  9. Tap the ? floating button to read how each metric is calculated.
  10. Data refreshes automatically about every 90 seconds while you stay on the tab.

Helpful tips

Keep these in mind:

  1. Compare This week vs Last month to spot trends before restocking.
  2. Upgrade your subscription if tabs show a premium lock.

If something goes wrong

Try this first:

  1. Pull down to refresh the screen if data looks outdated.
  2. Sign out and sign back in if buttons do not respond.
  3. Update the app to the latest version from your app store.
  4. Take a screenshot of any error message and contact Oja support.
